Art Spectrum Artists’ Watercolours are produced in Australia from a mixture of high quality pigments and gum arabic. Unlike many artist quality watercolours, which are milled using metal milling machines, Art Spectrum Artists’ Watercolours are carefully stone milled to grind each pigment to an optimal fineness. Fugitive pigments such as Alizarin Crimson have been replaced with lightfast alternatives such as Permanent Crimson to produce a highly permanent selection of watercolours.
