Awagami papers are made from traditional natural fibres such as Kozo and Gampi as well as Bamboo, Cotton, and Hemp. They are produced at Awagami Factory, a sixth generation family-run paper mill where traditional methods of making washi sit alongside modern innovations.

Awagami Pure White Silk is a great introductory washi with a lovely suppleness and strength. Great for students and budget conscious printmakers and artists. It is a warm white in colour with two distict surfaces, a textured and a very smooth. Great for screenprinting, it has four straight edges.
