Baohong Classic Watercolour Paper Blocks are made from 100% cotton and are acid-free, with internal and external sizing. This 300gsm block contains 20 sheets of cold pressed watercolour paper. Their patented production process creates a responsive surface that catches pigment effectively, supports delicate washes and lifting, and resists pilling for controlled colour application.

The Classic range uses shorter cotton fibres than the Baohong Masters range, creating a denser sheet that absorbs pigment deeper into the paper for richer colour and softer edges. These Chinese-made sheets are well-suited to heavy washes and blended backgrounds, and are tested against traditional European watercolour papers.
