Baohong Masters’ Pure Cotton Watercolour Paper Blocks are made from 100% cotton and are internally and externally sized with gelatine. Designed for delicate watercolour techniques and lifting, the surface resists pilling and allows colours to remain crisp and easy to control. Each block contains 20 sheets of 300gsm professional watercolour paper.
The paper has a wide fan base led by famous watercolourists, including Herman Pekel, Jan Min, and Jung Hun-Sung, over several years to refine their traditional papermaking methods and develop a surface comparable to high-end European watercolour papers.
Made in China, the paper undergoes rigorous testing and has developed a strong following among professional artists. Each block is glued on all four sides to help prevent buckling and remove the need for stretching before painting.
