Belle Arti Stretched Fine Polycotton Canvas is an Italian-made stretched canvas produced using traditional canvas-making methods. The canvas is primed and stretched to the reverse, giving a clean edge suitable for display without a frame.
The stretcher is made from renewable red fir wood, dried to the correct humidity for stability. A specially designed joint and stretcher bar help resist torsion and allow controlled canvas tension, supporting a stable painting surface.
Texture: Medium cotton or 3 grades of linen
Cotton is medium grain universal primed, linen is available in extra fine grain oil primed or fine and medium grain in universal primed.

Wedges: Laminated hardwood
Assembly: Stapled on reverse only
