The Bob Ross Base Coat Pack contains a selection of base coats specially developed for the Bob Ross wet-on-wet oil painting technique as well as a bottle of Bob Ross Brush Cleaner and Conditioner.
Liquid White, Liquid Black and Liquid Clear are fluid base coat paints developed exclusively for Bob Ross. The key foundation of the Bob Ross wet-on-wet technique, as seen in the award-winning television series The Joy of Painting, these mediums provide a unique base coat to your painting surface and are smooth and slow drying. They allow for easy blending and mixing of oil paints directly on the canvas. Importantly, they do not dilute the intensity of colors and should be applied sparingly. Apply a single, thin coat to a primed canvas before commencing a painting.
Bob Ross Brush Cleaner and Conditioner can be used to clean artists’ brushes and ensure they stay in good condition. Remove any excess paint from the brush prior to application. Massage a few drops of cleaner into the brush hairs and then rinse thoroughly with oil paint thinner. Blot the brush dry and reshape.
