Caran d’Ache Grafcube Graphite Sticks are a concentrated blend of carbon graphite tinted with watercolour pigment available in either red, green or blue. The sticks are watersoluble so that subtle colour tones can be created.
When used dry, they retain their original graphite character with only a subtle hint of colour. When used wet, the pigment intensifies, increasing the colour tones for beautiful blending effects.
Grafcubes can be used flat, at their edge, or across their entire length for fine or thick lines and block shading. Diluted with water, transparent watercolour techniques can be applied, making them a highly versatile medium.
