Caran d'Ache : Grafstone : Graphite Pencils

Caran d'Ache Grafstone pencils are sticks of pure graphite encased only in a thin plastic covering to facilitate handling. Grafstone pencils offer a flexible drawing tool - they can be sharpened to extremely fine points or used blunt, for bolder mark making. They can even be snapped to produce multiple sticks of graphite with irregular surfaces.

Grafstone pencils are slightly heavier than normal pencils because they contain more graphite. Many artists find these tools more balanced than a normal wood-cased pencil. Available in HB, 3B, and 6B.
