Caran d’Ache Technalo are high quality watersoluble graphite pencils tinted with watercolour pigment, offering a subtle interplay between drawing and painting. When used dry, the colour appears as a gentle hint within the natural dark tone of graphite, making it suitable for expressive sketching and tonal work.

When activated with water, the pigment intensifies to create rich washes of colour that can be applied directly from the pencil or worked further with a brush. Lightfast and responsive, Technalo pencils allow artists to move seamlessly between dry and wet techniques within a single piece.
