Charbonnel Ultraflex is a quick drying liquid hard ground and is a great alternative to solid etching grounds. It dries hard, transparent and with a satin finish. It should only be applied to cold plates, after they have been degreased. You can do this with a supple brush or by pouring it directly on to the tilted plate. Thanks to its transparent finish, it is suitable for at least two applications and can be reapplied to when a plate needs reworking, or an area needs to be protected during etching.
