Clairefontaine : Pastelmat : Pastel Paper Gummed Pads : 360gsm

Pastelmat is a premium 360gsm card surface specially developed for pastel painters. Its unique velvety surface, made from a fine coating of cellulose fibres, has the ability to grab and hold multiple layers of even the softest pastels.

Pastelmat significantly reduces the need for fixative, which means that colours remain vibrant and fresh once applied. It has the added bonus of being gentle on both fingers and blending tools. It is acid-free and lightfast.

Pastelmat is ideal for use with all dry media - pastel sticks, PanPastel, pencils and charcoal. It is also water resistant which means that it can be used with wet media - such as acrylics and watercolour for washes and mixed media techniques.

• The Blue Label contains twelve sheets; three each of Burgundy, Dark Blue, Light Blue, and Sand.
• The White Label contains twelve sheets of White.
• The Red Label Pastelmat Pad contains twelve sheets; three each of Dark Grey, Light Grey, Maize, and Buttercup.
• The Orange Label contains twelve sheets; three each of White, Sienna, Brown, and Anthracite.
• The Green Label contains twelve sheets; three each of Dark Green, Light Blue, Dark Blue, and White.
• The Anthracite Label contains twelve sheets of Anthracite.
