Faber-Castell Lead Pointer is a simple lead sharpener for 2mm and 3.15mm leads.
The quality of a sharpener, in particular the blade, is absolutely necessary in order to ensure that wood-clad pencils are sharpened to a correct, very thin and useful point. Coloured pencils however, can only be sharpened due to their soft lead to a much shorter and blunter point. It is important to replace your sharpener in order to make sure the blade remains sharp and at its best, and will not break leads.
