Golden Isolation Coat is a ready-to-use sealing layer designed for use on acrylic paintings before varnishing. It helps create a protective barrier between the painted surface and the final varnish layer.

This permanent acrylic medium improves flow and levelling, removing the need for measuring and mixing. It seals the surface absorbency of the painting, allowing varnish to be applied more evenly and making future varnish removal easier during conservation.

For best results, apply one or more thin layers of Isolation Coat before applying the final varnish.
