Jackson's : Large Assorted Sponge Bag

Natural sea sponges are used by many watercolourists as well as other artists and craftspeople. These large sponges can be cut to size if you need smaller ones. There are 6 to 9 in a bag. The assorted shapes, sizes and textures make these useful tools for lifting colour from wet paintings or adding texture by lifting a pattern or bits of colour from your watercolour painting. They are also tough yet gentle for scrubbing a dry watercolour to lift the colour and hold more water than foam sponges.

Rinse out new sponges thoroughly using clean water. They may be lightly sized to hold their shape in the bag.
