Jacquard Cyanotype Treated Fabric is a pre-sensitised cotton sateen fabric designed for cyanotype printing, an early photographic process appreciated for its rich blue tones. The sheets are ready to use, allowing prints to be created by exposing the fabric to light and developing the image with water.

To make a print, objects or transparencies are placed on the fabric to block light, creating photographic impressions known as photograms. After exposure, typically between 3 and 10 minutes depending on conditions, the fabric is rinsed in water, revealing the characteristic blue image. This process allows for detailed prints using objects, photographs, or drawings transferred onto transparencies.
