Jacquard iDyes are hot water-immersive dyes for colouring all types of fabric. The range is split into iDye for Natural Fabrics and iDye Poly.
Jacquard iDye for Natural Fabrics is a hot water dye that produces brilliant colours on a wide range of natural fabrics, including cotton, linen, canvas, silk, rayon, and more. Contained in a dissolvable packet, it can be used in a washing machine on the hottest cycle or in a suitable pan on the hob. Simply dissolve the packet in the dye bath or place it in the washing machine, then add the fabric. Some fabrics may need the addition of either salt or vinegar for fixing purposes, so please follow the instructions included.
Jacquard iDye Poly has been formulated for dyeing polyester fabrics and other synthetic items. This includes plastics and nylons, buttons, frisbee discs, Worbla and Thibra, 3D-printed objects, toys, dolls, wigs, cleats, urethane coatings, and more. The dye comes in a dissolvable packet, so there are never any messy powders to handle. Simply drop the packet in a pot of water, add the fabric or objects and bring to a simmer.
Jacquard iDyes will produce intense and brilliant uniform colours and are ideal for over-dyeing techniques and reviving faded garments. Choose from a variety of rich colours. For blended fabrics that contain both synthetic and natural fibres, mix together iDye for Natural Fabrics with the corresponding iDye Poly colour.
