Japanese Katsura : 13mm : Side Grain Wood Block : 100x150mm

Katsura wood blocks are used as an alternative to cherry wood, which is becoming harder to source and is expensive. These 13mm solid side grain blocks are nice and thick, so both sides can be carved.

To prepare for cutting, we advise that you give the surface a quick sand along the grain with a fine 1000 grit paper. If you do wish to use both sides, please ensure you protect the underside from getting dented or scratched.
