Khadi Lokta Paper is a handmade mountain paper from eastern Nepal, crafted from the inner bark fibers of lokta, a plant that grows in the high-altitude forests of the Himalayan foothills. Lokta (Daphne bholua), which thrives above 3,000 metres, yields a strong, durable paper.
This lightweight 30gsm Lokta Paper is dyed in the Kathmandu Valley using vegan dyes that meet current EU standards for effluent and toxicology. It is ideal for pen and ink, calligraphy, collage, and wrapping.
This is a 50 x 75cm sheet of Khadi Lokta Paper in Fuchsia.
