Khadi Papermaking Mould and Deckle is a professional quality frame for making your own handmade A4 artists’ rag paper. The mould can be used with cotton rag pulp along with woollen felts for couching the sheets and interleaving before pressing.
This handmade teak wood frame has a stainless steel wire ‘wove’ draining surface and a removable deckle frame. Ideal for the Western dipping method of papermaking, where water drains through the screen of the mould leaving the pulp to form the sheet of paper on the screen. This is then couched, pressed, and dried.
