Great for underpainting, this is a slightly yellowish but non-yellowing medium for mixing fast-drying ground colours to create easily flowing, uniformly porous, matt drying grounds for oil colours.
This medium prevents uneven colour absorption and works to give your oil painting a smooth consistency. It increases the gloss and translucency of colours. Dried layers remain soluble in turpentine.
Made from alkyd resin, matting agent, siccatives, mineral spirit.
