Montana Tech Varnish Spray is an acid-free, quick-drying clear varnish based on acrylic resin. Suitable for interior and exterior use, it can be applied to a variety of surfaces including canvas, paper, charcoal drawings, bast fibre, wood, and photographs. The varnish protects against oxidation and UV light without yellowing or desaturating colours.
Available in gloss, semi-gloss, and matt finishes, the varnish forms a protective layer that can be built up with multiple coats for increased UV protection. For best results, apply several thin coats with a short interval between passes. Surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, and rust before application. Not compatible with synthetic base lacquers and should always be tested on an inconspicuous area before use.
