PanPastels are professional-grade soft pastel colours packed in a unique pan format (cake-like) so that they can be mixed and applied like paint. They are very low-dust for a cleaner working environment. PanPastel colours are made using a unique manufacturing process requiring minimal binder and fillers, resulting in rich, ultra-soft and low-dust formulations. Only professional artist-grade pigments are used for the most concentrated colours possible. The colours have excellent lightfastness and are fully erasable.
Sofft Tools Knives are specifically developed for use with PanPastel, but can also be used with soft pastel sticks, pencils and most water-based art and craft materials. When used with Sofft Covers, these inexpensive tools function like a cross between a brush and a knife. Sofft Covers are made with a unique semi-absorbent micropore sponge material. The covers can be washed and reused multiple times (depending on the surface and colour used). The heads are shaped like brush heads. Knives can also be used without Sofft Covers as traditional painting knives.
