The 4Artist Marker pen is a multi-technique oil-based paint marker. The range of colours offer a glossy, highly pigmented finish with excellent lightfastness throughout. They can be mixed together and worked with a brush when applied to a non-absorbent surface. They are ideal for applying on smooth and non-porous surfaces and are quick drying (5 to 15 minutes depending on the surface and thickness of application) Similar to oil paint, the colours can be diluted and reworked with odourless mineral spirit to obtain differing shades, gradients and tones on most surfaces. They can be applied to most surfaces including canvas, paper, plastic, wood and metal. Ideal for drawing, outlining, filling in large areas, glazing and mixed media. For special effects, simply saturate the tip with colour to create splashing and dripping effects. Uniform in application, there is no colour variation from wet-to-dry. They have a black aluminium body and a coloured cap, making them easily identifiable.
The 4mm round nib is particularly good for drawing, outlining, finishing touches and writing. The colours in this set include White, Black, Yellow, Red and Dark Blue.
