Canson Glassine Paper can be used to protect the surface of prints, drawings, paintings and other artworks from spilling, exposure, or rubbing during storage or presentation. It will not damage or smudge pastel, charcoal or graphite. Glassine sheets are ideal for protecting, conserving, and archiving a variety of artworks, including prints, photographs, technical drawings, fine art, and illustrations.

Glassine is often used in bookbinding for separating (interleaving) pages containing plates or illustrations. Its smooth surface is resistant to grease, air, and water, and is pH-neutral and acid-free to ensure archival protection.

Please note, Glassine paper is translucent, not crystal clear.
