Saunders Waterford is a premium watercolour paper, traditionally made on a cylinder mould machine at St Cuthberts Mill and endorsed by the Royal Watercolour Society. Made from 100% cotton and manufactured to archival standards, it is acid-free and buffered with calcium carbonate to help protect artwork from discolouration caused by atmospheric pollutants.
Its distinctive surface is created using natural woollen felts, giving it an attractive, random texture. Gelatine tub-sizing makes the paper strong and resilient, able to withstand scrubbing and repeated washes. Saunders Waterford is a stable, durable paper suitable for watercolour and a wide range of other media.
This is a Saunders Waterford Watercolour Paper Block containing 20 sheets of 300gsm Hot Pressed paper, measuring 9 x 12in, in White – a soft, creamy traditional white shade.
