The Schmincke Horadam Gouache Paint Aurora Borealis Set brings together five finely formulated colours selected for creating luminous, atmospheric effects inspired by the northern and southern lights. With superb flow and a high concentration of genuine pigments, Horadam Gouache offers excellent lightfastness and a rich, opaque, pastel-like finish. The colours dilute easily with water, mix seamlessly across the range and can also be combined with Designers’ Gouache.
Once dry, the paint can be rewetted and reworked on both absorbing and non-absorbing surfaces, including paper, card and canvas. Thanks to the extra fine pigment size, Horadam Gouache can even be used through a 0.15 mm airbrush, making the set suitable for detailed applications as well as broader painterly techniques.
