Schmincke Norma Blue Water-Mixable Oils are a professional range formulated to offer the quality and consistency of traditional oil paint without the need for solvents. Developed to the same high standards as Norma Professional Oil Colours, they have a rich, buttery consistency, a high pigment concentration, and lightfastness ratings of 4 to 5 across the range.
Norma Blue oils are almost odourless and formulated without Cobalt, Cadmium, or Zinc Oxide pigments. The vegan-friendly range is made exclusively with high quality vegetable oils.
The 48 colours can be used directly from the tube, thinned with water, or modified with water-mixable oil mediums. Paint can be cleaned from brushes, spatulas, and palettes using water and a little soap.
