Speedball Flex Fabric Screen Printing Inks are an advanced water-based ink designed to be flexible across a variety of materials, including cotton, polyester, rayon and synthetic fabric. The range consists of high-opacity, vibrant colours suitable for printing onto light and dark fabrics. The colours will be soft to the touch once dry and should not crack or peel even on stretchy fabrics.
Speedball Flex Inks are not pure process colours. This guarantees the highly opaque performance but will require artists to experiment when developing their own custom palettes.
For best results, all projects should be allowed to dry overnight prior to heat setting. Rushing the drying process may lead to issues such as undercured ink, poor adhesion, or ink cracking after washing. You can heat set with a heat press or with an iron. Always use a piece of parchment paper to cover your design when heat setting. This will prevent ink from sticking to your heating element and ensure even heat distribution. Use of alternative paper is not recommended.

100% Cotton: 300°F / 150°C for 1 minute
Triblend: 300°F / 150°C for 1 minute
Polyester blend: 300°F / 150°C for 40 seconds
