Speedball : Mid-Fire Glaze : 473ml : Champagne Quartz

Speedball Mid-Fire Glazes have been developed in partnership with ceramic artist Nancy Sowder. They are available in a range of 30 colours for creating decorative mottled and reduction-like effects for pottery and ceramic works, as well as for sealing the clay body to make it waterproof and food-safe.

The Speedball Mid-Fire Glazes can be used on their own, or layered with other colours to create interesting variations. They can be applied by pouring, brushing, or dipping. Once dry, the work can be fired at Cone 5/6. Results may vary based on individual application methods and firing techniques. It is recommended to create a test piece as a visual reference. For consistent results, cool all colours on a normal cooling cycle.

Champagne Quartz is a gloss glaze with hints of flowing lavender and golden hues. A showcase of movement on its own, Champagne Quartz provides the perfect encore when layered with other Mid-Fire glazes.
