Botanical Ultra Smooth Watercolour Paper is mould-made from 50% cotton and is acid-free and calcium carbonate buffered. It is acid-free, guaranteeing excellent permanence and resistance to ageing.

The colour is a very close match to Fabriano 5, and it does contain optical brighteners to give a bright white colour. Its ultra-smooth surface makes it ideal for botanical watercolour painting and illustration as well as charcoal, pastel, and graphite.
