Unison Colour Pastel Fixing Spray is a colourless, non-yellowing fixative for pastel. It's also suitable for use with pencil, charcoal, crayon, chalk drawings and paintings.
This fixing spray helps to protect from smudging, moisture and UV damage. It has a clear, matt finish.
Directions for use:
- Use in a well ventilated area. Shake can well, point nozzle towards a piece of scrap material and press for a second to clear.
- Test before spraying onto artwork, particularly with light pastel colours.
- Position the drawing either horizontally or slightly inclined.
- Spray a light, even coat covering the entire drawing from a distance of 25 - 30cm (10 - 12in) away.
For Charcoal, Pastel, Pencil and Chalk: Unison Fixative is used both during and after the drawing process. Apply to the work in progress to ‘fix’ layers and prevent smudging: allow a minute to dry then continue. The final coat will help protect the finished picture from airborne moisture and from smudging.
