Winsor & Newton Artisan Matt Varnish is a UV-resistant matt varnish that protects paintings achieved with Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colour. This non-yellowing varnish will give your work a unified feel and a soft matt finish. It can be removed with Artisan Varnish Remover. Before applying, the painting must be completely dry (approximately 6 months). Use only as a final varnish and shake well before use.
Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colour has its own specially developed range of mediums, varnishes, and solvents, so that all the techniques available to traditional oil painters can be achieved with Artisan oils.
